Today I vacuum bagged the latest Drifter, the 7'2" V2. 2 layers of 6oz fiberglass and one 4oz. Vacuum bagging the board removes all excess resin from the lamination, resulting in a very lightweight, fiber-rich glass job. Because you remove excess resin and the dead weight associated with it, you can add additional layers of fiberglass. This board will have 3 layers of glass on each side making it nearly unbreakable! This will be a demo model and available to ride for any of you out there keen to have a go!
